Full description and specifications

Iris pseudacorus 'Variegata' is a decorative variety of Pond Iris, known for its attractive, variegated leaves, which feature longitudinal stripes of green and yellow. This distinctive feature adds interesting visual contrast and brightness to wet areas of gardens, near ponds, basins or in other spaces with water-rich soil. In addition to its ornamental appearance given by its foliage, 'Variegata' also produces bright yellow flowers, in the typical iris shape, which bloom in late spring or early summer. It is a perennial, robust and relatively easy to maintain, preferring sunny to partially shaded places and moist soils. Due to its tolerance of high humidity conditions, Iris pseudacorus 'Variegata' is a popular choice for designing water gardens or for stabilizing banks. This variety not only enriches the diversity of colors and textures in the landscape, but can also play a useful role in filtering and purifying water in aquatic habitats.

It withstands temperatures down to -30 degrees Celsius.
Pot diameter: 9 cm
