Flowers and fragrance. It produces umbels of small, almost flat flowers in shades ranging from pale yellow to peach. The fragrance is reported to be weak and difficult to define; its intensity may vary between blooms and depending on the time of day.

Botanical identity and origin. The accepted botanical name is Hoya dimorpha F.M.Bailey. The species was published in 1898 and is native to New Guinea, where it occurs as a climbing plant in the humid tropical biome. The author F.M.Bailey should not be confused with F.Muell.
