Orchid Grammatophyllum scriptum var. citrinum is a variety with variegated leaves.

Grammatophyllum scriptum - a large botanical species, considered the largest orchid in the world. Mature specimens reach gigantic sizes - they continuously produce new bulbs, forming huge clusters.

The blooms are extremely abundant - each mature bulb can produce several flower stalks. A flower stalk can reach a length of 120 cm and can produce over 100 medium-sized, strongly scented flowers. The flowers last 6-8 weeks or more under favorable conditions. Flowering occurs more frequently in warm seasons.

It requires care similar to Cymbidium, including in terms of substrate, but does not need a temperature difference in the cold season. It can be successfully grown in partially sunny locations.

Flower size: approx. 4.5 cm

Fragrant flowers: YES

Note: Specimens in stock also show leaves with defects.
