Cischweinfia parva - a botanical species found in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia, in mountain cloud forests, at altitudes between 700 and 1150 meters. It is a small-sized epiphyte, with growth adapted to conditions ranging from warmth to coolness, having a short rhizome.
In its natural habitat, it blooms in summer and early autumn on an axillary flower cluster about 7.5 cm long, with 1 or 2 flowers, which appears on a mature pseudobulb. Indoors, it is considered free flowering.
The flowers naturally show color variations. Some leaves have defects specific to the variety.
