Anthurium vittarifolium is one of the most spectacular Anthurium species grown for its foliage, appreciated for its long, narrow, elegant leaves, which form impressive cascades as the plant matures. Native to the tropical forests of South America, this species has a naturally pendant growth habit, making it ideal for hanging pots or placement on high shelves.

Its glossy, deep green leaves can easily exceed one metre in length on mature specimens, creating a lush tropical appearance. Under optimal conditions, the plant also produces discreet inflorescences followed by decorative red fruits, which contrast spectacularly with the foliage.
