Alocasia 'Watsoniana' is a tropical plant in the Araceae family, native to Southeast Asia. It is known for its spectacular leaves, with prominent and contrasting venation, which become almost black at certain stages of development.

It is not a drought tolerant plant and requires high humidity levels to remain healthy. Like other Alocasia species, Alocasia 'Watsoniana' can be sensitive to sudden changes in temperature.
Care instructions:
Location: bright area, protected from sunlight. It can also tolerate a less lit area quite well.
Watering: Water when the substrate is dry. It is recommended to administer small amounts of water.
Substrate: well drained. Can be a combination of peat with perlite.
Temperature: 15 - 28 degrees Celsius
Fertilization: During the growing season, apply a balanced fertilizer diluted 1/2.
Humidity: ideal >60%
Pruning: remove damaged or yellowed leaves.

Height with pot included: approx. 20-30 cm
