Rhaphidophora cryptantha is a rare, extremely spectacular plant that climbs surfaces (a behavior called "shingling"). She is originally from Papua New Guinea. The plant is known for its heart-shaped green leaves marked with distinct silver veins.

Unlike other related varieties, the leaves of this plant do not reach gigantic sizes - the immature leaves are around 3 cm, while the adult leaves reach 6-8 cm.

Synonyms: Monstera acreana, Monstera irritans, Marcgavia dubia.
