Hoya australis 'Lisa' is a variegated cultivar with a vining habit, presented here as a mature plant trained on an arch. The oval foliage combines dark green, light green, cream and yellow, while new leaves may display pink, red or purple tones that fade as the plant grows. The variegation pattern varies from one leaf to another. Under good growing conditions, clusters of star-shaped, white flowers with a pinkish-red center may appear; they are intensely fragrant. Flowering depends on growing conditions. The vines are already trained onto the support, making this an established specimen.

Foliage and growth. The leaves are opposite, oval, smooth and slightly fleshy. The variegation forms patterns in cream, yellow and several shades of green. New growth often appears pink-red or purple before gradually stabilizing. The intensity and proportion of the colors are not identical on every leaf. The plant has a climbing habit: the flexible vines can be trained on an arch or trellis.

Flowers and fragrance. The flowers are waxy and star-shaped, predominantly white, with a pinkish-red center. They are intensely fragrant and may last for approximately one week. The flowers of this cultivar are horticulturally described as smaller than those of Hoya australis subsp. australis. Flowering depends on the plant's maturity and growing conditions.

Horticultural identity. 'Lisa' is an established cultivar of Hoya australis R.Br. ex J.Traill, horticulturally associated with the Hoya australis subsp. tenuipes group.

The height, including the pot, is approximately 40 cm. The decorative pot is not included in the price.

Shipping note: this cultivar is sensitive to temperature. After receiving the package, the plant may lose some leaves.

Substrate: use an airy, well-draining mix suitable for epiphytic species. We recommend the professional substrate for Hoya and Anthurium - SG Mix.
