Micropera utriculosa
Micropera utriculosa orchid - an epiphytic botanical species notable for its unusual appearance and repeated, abundant blooming. The stem features a wealth of aerial roots.
Flowering occurs sporadically throughout the year, but mainly in spring and summer. The flowers appear on the side opposite the leaf, on short stalks - each stalk produces 6-12 flowers.
The abundant presence of aerial roots suggests the need for a growing environment with higher humidity (+60%) - in case of lower humidity, this can be compensated by misting. Micropera utriculosa is considered an ideal plant for terrariums.
