Full description and specifications

Graptopetalum bellum, also known as "Taco Plant", is an attractive succulent plant due to its unique shape and spectacular flowers. It has fleshy, thick leaves that grow in compact rosettes.

The leaves are usually light green, with shades of pink or purple on the edges, depending on the exposure to the sun. Its flowers are particularly impressive, with red or pink petals and a white center, which appear in spring.

Graptopetalum bellum care includes the following main aspects:

  1. Light : This succulent prefers full or partial sunlight. Adequate exposure to the sun helps to intensify the colors of the leaves and abundant flowering. In areas with a very hot climate, protect the plant from the sun directly from midday to avoid burns.

  2. Soil : Graptopetalum bellum requires a well-drained soil, ideally a mix for cacti or succulents. Ensure efficient drainage to prevent excessive water retention, which can lead to root rot.

  3. Watering : Watering must be moderate. Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. During the summer, the plant may require more frequent watering, but it is essential not to overdo it, especially in low humidity conditions.

  4. Temperature : Graptopetalum bellum is resistant to lower temperatures, but does not tolerate frost. If the temperature drops below zero degrees Celsius, it is advisable to move the plant indoors or protect it.

  5. Fertilization : Fertilize moderately during the period of active growth, spring and summer, using a diluted fertilizer specially formulated for succulents.

At the time of listing, all plants had buds or flowers - but these may be lost until the order is processed.
