Agave victoriae-reginae, commonly known as Queen Victoria Agave, is one of the most appreciated and elegant Agave species. Native to the arid regions of northeastern Mexico, it impresses with its perfectly symmetrical rosette, formed of thick, rigid, dark green leaves decorated with fine white lines, natural characteristics of the species.

Thanks to its slow growth and compact habit, it is an excellent choice for growing in pots, xeriscape gardens, rock gardens, or succulent plant collections. Its geometric appearance and almost perfect symmetry make it a true collector’s specimen.

  • Plant type: perennial succulent

  • Compact rosette with slow growth

🌞 Growing conditions:

  • Light: prefers direct sunlight or a very bright position.

  • Substrate: very well-drained, mineral-based, intended for cacti and succulents.

  • Watering: limited; water only after the substrate has dried out completely.

  • Temperature: prefers temperatures between 15–30°C. It tolerates temperatures close to −5°C for short periods if the substrate is completely dry; however, protecting the plant from frost is recommended.

  • Fertilization: occasionally in spring and summer, with a fertilizer for cacti and succulents.
