Lupinus 'Camelot Blue'

Lupinus 'Camelot Blue' is a variety from the Camelot series, valued for its very dense, long spikes of intense blue flowers, as well as its vigorous habit and strong stems.

Unlike the Gallery series (which is dwarf and compact), 'Camelot Blue' grows taller and more robust, closer to the classic appearance of Russell lupins. The flowers are a deep violet-blue with white reflections on the upper petal, grouped in long, very dense spikes. It blooms from May to July, and if wilted flowers are removed, it can produce a second bloom later in the summer.

Recommended uses: Excellent for tall borders, flower beds, rustic or naturalistic gardens. Due to its height and long, dense spikes, it is very suitable for the background of borders or as a cut flower (holds well in a vase). Looks stunning combined with other perennials in shades of pink, white, or yellow.
