Epidendrum radicans 'Nordic Fire’ XL

Epidendrum radicans is an orchid native to Central and South America, valued for its small flowers grouped in rich inflorescences, brightly colored in shades of orange, red, or yellow. It is also known as the "garden orchid" in warm climate areas, being one of the easiest Epidendrum species to grow.

Care summary:

• 🌞 Light: prefers bright light, even direct sun for a few hours a day; without enough light, blooming decreases.
• 🌡️ Temperature: grows well at moderate temperatures, with an optimal range of 18–28°C; in winter it requires a minimum of 12–14°C.
• 💧 Watering: the soil or substrate is kept slightly moist but well-drained; it does not tolerate waterlogging.
• 🌱 Substrate: aerated mix, with bark and perlite
• 🌸 Blooming: blooms abundantly, often several times a year, if it receives strong light and consistent care.

It is a hardy orchid, suitable even for beginners, that adds a tropical touch with its vibrant and long-lasting flowers.
