Angraecum calceolus is a compact and easy-to-grow orchid species, native to the coastal forests of Madagascar and neighboring islands such as Comoros, Mascarene, and Seychelles, where it grows at altitudes between 30 and 2000 meters. This plant forms dark green leaves about 15 cm long and produces multiple branched inflorescences up to 30 cm, which bloom over several months with small, star-shaped, greenish-white flowers about 4 cm in diameter. It is hardy and prolific, adapting well to cooler conditions but avoiding extreme temperatures.
