Alocasia 'Polly' Yellow Variegata

Alocasia ‘Polly’ Yellow Variegata is a collector’s variant of the classic ‘Polly’, known for its glossy, dark green leaves with very contrasting veins, over which yellow variegation appears (sometimes yellow-cream). It is a plant with immediate visual impact: graphic, dramatic, perfect as an accent in a modern setting.

Botanical characteristics

• firm, glossy leaves with very clear light veins

• yellow variegation with variable distribution (speckles, spots, or larger areas)

• growth in waves: a new leaf appears, then the plant stabilizes for a while

Growing conditions

• Light: plenty of indirect light; avoid direct sun, especially on variegated areas (they are more sensitive)

• Watering: moderate and careful; let the top layer dry slightly between waterings. No permanently wet soil
