The house fern - Nephrolepis, is renowned for its ability to purify the air in enclosed spaces. The house fern needs a bright spot and plenty of moisture to grow harmoniously.

Placement: Bright location, sheltered from direct sunlight.
Watering: The fern requires high humidity - the soil must not dry out, and the plant needs misting during the warm season.
Substrate: a mix of peat and sand.
Fertilizing: For good growth, the fern needs weekly fertilizing during the growing period (spring-summer).
