Hoya loheri

Hoya loheri is a compact and elegant species of epiphytic (or lithophytic) Hoya, native to the Philippines (described in 1991 by Kloppenburg). It is valued for its narrow, elongated, and slightly curved leaves (semi-succulent), glossy deep green, giving the plant a delicate and graceful appearance.

Growth: vining/trailing/climbing, perfect for hanging baskets or small pots; it quickly forms long vines and is compact at first, becoming more vigorous with maturity.

The flowers appear in dense clusters, star-shaped, ranging from intense reddish-orange to deep maroon, with fuzzy/velvety accents and a yellow center. They are spectacular and long-lasting!

Fragrance: yes, sweet and pleasant, often described as sweet floral with subtle notes – a wonderful bonus when blooming!
