The Epiphyllum Beavertail resembles an Epiphyllum anguliger. It owes its name "Beaver Tail" to its large leaves, which look like a beaver's tail.
Light: bright area, without direct sunlight
Water: during the growing period (spring - autumn) keep the soil moist. In winter, reduce watering until new growth appears.
Humidity: moderate 40-50%
Temperature: moderate 18-24 °C. To produce flower buds, the plant needs 8-10 weeks of cool days at 16-18 °C and nights at 7-13 °C.
Fertilizing: every 2 weeks from early spring until autumn, using a fertilizer high in phosphorus.
The plant is sold without flowers. Stock specimens may have leaves with imperfections.
