Neoporteria villosa (Eriosyce villosa)
€5,95
Neoporteria villosa is a species of cactus native to Chile, belonging to the Cactaceae family. This cactus is known for its interesting appearance and its adaptability to dry and arid environments.
Placement: Neoporteria villosa prefers bright places but protected from direct exposure to strong sunlight. A spot with indirect light or morning sun exposure is ideal.
Temperature: This cactus species tolerates moderate to warm temperatures. During winter, it is recommended to keep the plant at a lower temperature, around 10-15 degrees Celsius, to encourage its resting period.
Watering: Neoporteria villosa is adapted to dry conditions, so it should be watered moderately. During the active growth period (spring and summer), regular watering once a week is usually sufficient. Make sure the soil dries out between waterings to avoid excessive moisture buildup, which can lead to root rot.
Soil: Choose a well-draining soil mix specially designed for cacti and succulents. Ensure the pot has drainage holes.
Fertilizing: The cactus does not require heavy fertilizing. During the active growth period, you can apply a diluted fertilizer for cacti once a month.
Height with pot included approx. 12 cm
The plant is sold without flowers. The decorative pot is not included in the price.
