MINECTO ALPHA insecticide - modern insecticide (Thrips)
MINECTO ALPHA is an insecticide with a systemic mode of action, having a broad spectrum of combating a large number of horticultural crops. The product is designed both for foliar application and for use through the drip irrigation system. It acts mainly through ingestion, but it also has a contact action. It also offers protection against viruses (by activating the plant's defense mechanisms).
CIANTRANILIPROL is part of the diamide class and is a ryanodine receptor modulator. It adheres to the ryanodine receptor in the muscle cells and causes the opening of the channel. This results in the displacement of a flow of calcium ions from the internal reserves to the cytoplasm, causing muscle paralysis, cessation of feeding and death of the insects. It acts mainly through ingestion, although it also has a light contact activity. It acts after a few hours in the case of the first larval stages.
ACIBENZOLAR-S-METHYL is rapidly absorbed by plants after a foliar application and is also translocated from the roots after soil application. When it is applied to plants that are sensitive to diseases, it activates the defense mechanisms.
In the case of virus infections, when the plant's defense mechanism is activated, the first reaction against the virus is the formation of a necrotic tissue near the infection, reducing the replication and propagation of the virus inside the plant.
