Full description and specifications

Hoya parasitica 'Black Margin' - endemic species from Thailand and Vietnam. The plant stands out for its impressive, sharp leaves with black edges, silver splash and prominent, structured venation.
The flowers are cream with a red center, pleasantly scented and have a lifespan of approx. 7 days.
When the plant is grown in direct sunlight, the edges of the leaves become intensely colored, and the new leaves are almost black - hence one of the old names (Hoya parasitica 'Black Leaves').
This variety has been sold over time under various names: Hoya parasitica 'Black Margin', Hoya aff. parasitica, Hoya parasitica 'Black Leaves', Hoya sp. Anjuk Ladang (Vietnam), Hoya EPC-301, Hoya Verticillata Sp. Anjuk Ladang, Hoya verticillata 'Black Margin'.
Currently, theoretically, the correct name would be Hoya verticillata. It must be said that many collectors, botanists and even taxonomists consider the inclusion of many species of hoya in the "verticillata complex" as exaggerated and meaningless, because the differences between the plants are very large and it seems nonsense that they all have the same name, even if they have certain common genetic elements.

The length of the lianas varies from one specimen to another. The decorative bowl is not included in the price.
