The white Camellia japonica, with the beaten flower, is a special and highly sought-after variety.
Camellia Japonica is a wonderful plant that delights us with its incredible flowers. Camellia grows in the form of a shrub and is suitable both for the interior of homes and for terraces or gardens. It blooms profusely for 4-6 months a year (depending on care).
In Asia, Camellia is of particular importance, being popularly called the "tea plant" and considered a symbol of the samurai.
Plant height: 65-70 cm
Pot diameter: 15 cm
Plant development: Shrub, with a maximum height of 1.5 - 2 m
Placement: Camellia needs a lot of light but does not tolerate direct sunlight. It is recommended to place it in cool, shaded but bright spaces, away from heat sources and with constant humidity. In the climatic conditions of Romania, the plant withstands very well outside - provided it is planted in the garden, in a safe place. It does NOT tolerate large temperature differences well (moved inside-outside, from hot to cold or vice versa)!
Moisture: Water regularly, without letting the soil dry completely between waterings. On hot summer days, it is sprayed on the leaves.
Propagation: By cuttings.
