Care:
- Light: Plumbago auriculata needs plenty of light, ideally placed in full sun. The more light it receives, the more abundantly it will bloom.
- Temperature: The plant prefers moderate temperatures. It does not tolerate frost, so in areas with cold winters it must be brought indoors.
- Watering: Water regularly, keeping the soil slightly moist, but not soaked. Avoid water stagnation, as it can lead to root rot.
- Soil: Plumbago auriculata prefers well-drained soil, rich in humus.
- Fertilizer: Fertilize regularly, once a month, during the growing season, with a fertilizer for flowering plants.
- Pruning: To stimulate flowering and maintain the plant’s compact shape, regular pruning of the branches is recommended.
- Wintering: In areas with cold winters, the plant should be placed in a bright and cool spot, where the temperature does not fall below 10 degrees Celsius.
