Aloe Haworthia - mix of species
Haworthia is a small cactus, measuring 2-10 centimeters in diameter, forming solitary rosettes around a tiny stem or clumps. In some species, the leaves are dark green, covered with pustules or small rough bumps (Haworthia fasciata), while in others they are light green, with white or translucent dots (Haworthia cymbiformis).
Height including pot: 10 cm
A variety of haworthia from the mix will be sent randomly. Care instructions for Haworthia:
Light and temperature: Bright light, without direct sunlight. Lack of light leads to loss of the rosette shape. When exposed to the sun, the leaves turn reddish. The minimum temperature is about 8-10 degrees Celsius, and it can survive for a short time at lower temperatures. Leaves and flowers: Very varied in shape, elongated and pointed, triangular and thick, like a shell or resembling stones. Strongly overlapped in rosettes, on short stems or arranged in a sheath on long stems. The leaves are firm green, from dark to semi-translucent, with or without white roughness. The flowers are similar in all species, small white with a pinkish tint, arranged on a long stalk 10-40 cm. Soil: Cactus soil with an additional mix of sand and gravel because they have fleshy roots prone to rotting if the soil is too moist. Watering: From the end of March until October, water regularly, on average once a week, waiting for the soil to dry between waterings. In the cold season from October to March, water in small amounts, 2-3 times, depending on the temperatures where it overwinters. Overwatering causes the leaves to blacken and soften, often leading to root rot and loss of the plant.
