Philodendron 'Red Emerald' (plants with defects)
The philodendron belongs to the list of plants recognized for its air purifying qualities and, in addition, it does not require special care. The 1989 NASA study identified philodendron among the best plants for removing formaldehyde and improving air quality.
Location: Philodendron prefers a bright area, away from direct sunlight. However, it will also tolerate a darker area.
Watering: The soil must be neither too wet nor too dry. Water regularly, allowing the soil to partially dry between waterings. Make sure the pot has good drainage.
Soil: Philodendron prefers a nutrient-rich soil that retains moisture well.
Height with pots included approx. 60-80 cm
Defective leaves do not affect the viability of the plant. Under conditions of optimal care, the new leaves will develop normally.
