Merpan 80 WDG - multispecific contact fungicide

Contact fungicide with multi-site action, specially prepared to combat fungi of the genus Venturia, which cause scab on fruit trees, but later successfully tested in the treatment of a large number of fungal and bacterial diseases, including on tropical plants, such as orchids. Until now, the action of Merpan 80 WDG is known against soft rot, brown rot, and brown spot caused by species of the genera Erwinia, Acidovorax (syn. Pseudomonas), against anthracnose caused by species of the genus Colletotrichum, against brown spot caused by Cercospora and Guignardia, against root rot caused by Rhizoctonia, as well as against gray mold of flowers caused by Botrytis.
The product quickly penetrates the fungal mycelium and prevents the establishment of infections on the treated plant organs by blocking respiratory and cell division processes. It does not accumulate in plant tissues but adheres effectively to the plant tissue for a period of 5 – 7 days.
