Hoya solokensis is a rare Hoya species, highly valued by collectors for its unusual habit and its elegant, white, delicate star-shaped flowers. It is a botanically accepted species, officially described in 2019, native to Sumatra, where it naturally grows in humid tropical forests. Unlike many other Hoyas, it is noted for having a shrubby epiphytic habit, non-climbing or very slightly climbing, which makes it unique in Hoya collections.
