Full description and specifications
Drosera, also known as Roa Cerului, is a fascinating insectivorous plant, also present in Romania, in protected areas. Drosera leaves look like tentacles with bristles. The plant secretes a sticky liquid that attracts the insects, causing them to remain attached, to be coiled by the plant's bristles and to be completely digested in a few days.
Care:
- Light: It needs a lot of light, preferably direct sunlight.
- Water: Prefers distilled water or rainwater and moist soil.
- Soil: Acid soil, poor in nutrients.
Height with pots included: approx. 15 cm
IMPORTANT: Insectivorous / carnivorous plants do not pose any kind of danger to humans. Their digestive juice is at most a good hand sanitizer!
