Begonia 'Cleopatra'

Begonia 'Cleopatra' is a begonia variety with a very attractive and distinctive appearance. This plant stands out through its colorful, patterned leaves, which can range from dark green to bronze or even purple, depending on the light and soil conditions. The leaves often have a spiral or wavy pattern and may also have a velvety texture.

The flowers of this variety are usually pink or white and appear during the flowering periods. However, the main attraction of Begonia 'Cleopatra' remains its unique leaves.

In terms of care, this plant prefers well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Like other begonias, it is sensitive to overwatering and prefers moderate watering. Begonia 'Cleopatra' grows best in a bright area with indirect light, but it can also tolerate partial shade.

The ideal temperature for this plant is between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius. It prefers a humid environment, so misting the leaves with water can be beneficial, but only in moderation to prevent mold.

Plants from stock may also have leaves with defects caused by handling and adaptation to growing conditions.
