Ctenanthe is a plant native to Central and South America. The plant is related to Calathea and Maranta and shares the same trait of raising its leaves in the evening. So, do not be surprised if you hear noises at night: the rustling comes from the leaves sliding over each other!
Care:
- place the plant in a bright spot, but not in direct sunlight.
- keep the soil slightly moist; do not let the soil dry out. Water moderately.
