Sansevieria 'Silver Princess' - XL-exemplar

Sansevieria is a plant native to Africa, Madagascar, and southern Asia, and is grown here as a houseplant.

It is ideal for indoor decoration, in offices, homes, or commercial spaces, due to its elegant appearance and easy care.

Sansevieria is known for its ability to purify the air, removing toxins such as formaldehyde and benzene from the indoor environment.

Care:

1. Light: Sansevieria prefers bright, indirect light but can also tolerate low light. It can be placed in sunny spots as well as in areas with partial shade. Prolonged direct sunlight can cause leaf burns.

2. Watering: The plant should be watered moderately, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot. During winter, watering should be significantly reduced as the plant enters a resting period.

3. Soil: It prefers well-drained, slightly sandy soil. A mix for cacti or succulents is ideal for Sansevieria 'Silver Princess'. It is important that the soil does not retain water.

4. Temperature: The plant grows best at temperatures between 18-27°C. It can tolerate lower temperatures, down to about 10°C, but must be protected from frost.

5. Humidity: Sansevieria tolerates dry air well and does not require high humidity. It is a suitable plant for the usual indoor climate.

6. Fertilizing: Fertilize the plant once every 2-3 months during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced liquid fertilizer, diluted to half the recommended strength.
