Sansevieria platinum Mikado

Sansevieria ‘Platinum Mikado’ is an elegant and modern variety of Sansevieria, known for its slender, cylindrical leaves and distinctive color.

Main features:

• Leaves: elongated, cylindrical, stiff, light green-silver (platinum) in color, with a subtle metallic sheen. The leaves grow upright and are sometimes slightly twisted or curved.

• Form: the plant forms a compact cluster of vertical leaves, with a very neat and decorative appearance.

• Size: height reaches about 30-50 cm, depending on age and conditions.

• Light: prefers strong indirect light but also tolerates low light conditions. In stronger light, the silvery color becomes more pronounced.

• Watering: requires infrequent watering; the soil must be allowed to dry out completely between waterings. Water very rarely in winter.

• Temperature: ideal is room temperature. Should not be exposed to temperatures below 10°C.

• Soil: very well-drained soil, ideal for cacti and succulents.

Additional care:

• It is extremely resistant to neglect, making it ideal for beginners.

• Does not tolerate overwatering; the most common cause of plant damage is root rot caused by constant moisture.

• Does not require frequent fertilizing; you can apply a fertilizer for succulents 1-2 times per season, diluted.
