Piaranthus barrydalensis is a succulent plant species from the Apocynaceae family, Asclepiadoideae subfamily, native to the Barrydale region, Little Karoo, South Africa. It is valued for its star-shaped flowers, with an exotic appearance and distinctive coloring

🔹 Botanical characteristics:

Stems: Succulent, creeping, made up of short segments, greenish-gray in color, with slightly toothed edges.

Flowers: Star-shaped, about 2–3 cm in diameter. The petals are pale yellowish-white, marked with reddish-brown stripes or dots, and the edges are curved backward. The corona is yellow with red highlights.

Blooming: Occurs in the warm season, with flowers grouped in short clusters at the tips of the stems.
