Philodendron patriciae is a spectacular botanical species of Philodendron, appreciated by collectors for its very long, narrow, and deeply undulated leaves, with a slightly pleated texture that gives them a sculptural appearance. As the plant matures, the leaves become progressively more impressive and may hang elegantly from the support, forming a silhouette that is difficult to confuse with other Philodendron species.

This species originates from Colombia and has a climbing growth habit. In its natural habitat, it develops on tree trunks, and in cultivation it benefits considerably from a vertical support that allows its aerial roots to attach themselves. When cultivated correctly, the difference between the juvenile and mature foliage can be spectacular.
