Paeonia Suffruticosa popularly called shrub garden peony - is an atypical peony of Asian origin. There are Japanese cultivars and Chinese cultivars.
Unlike the classic peony, Paeonia Suffruticosa grows (slowly) in the form of a woody shrub that reaches a height of 2-3 m.
Location: sunny or partially sunny location. Areas protected from strong winds or extreme temperatures are preferable.
