Full description and specifications

Monstera minima, scientifically known as Rhaphidophora tetrasperma, is an attractive tropical plant. This plant is native to Southeast Asia and is valued for its perforated leaves, which are smaller and more delicate than those of other Monstera species.

Care:

  1. Light: Monstera minima prefers indirect light, but can also tolerate medium light. Avoid direct exposure to the sun, which can burn the leaves.

  2. Watering: Watering must be done regularly, but make sure that the soil partially dries between waterings.

  3. Humidity: Being a tropical plant, it loves humidity. A humidity of 60% or higher is ideal. A humidifier can be used or the plant can be placed on a support with gravel and water to increase the humidity around it.

  4. Temperature: Prefers warm temperatures, between 18-30 degrees Celsius. Avoid cold drafts or sudden temperature fluctuations.

  5. Fertilization: Fertilize the plant during the growing season (spring-summer) once a month with a balanced fertilizer, diluted to half the recommended concentration. Avoid fertilizing in the cold season.

Height with pots included approx. 25-30 cm

Some leaves may have mechanical defects, but these do not affect the viability of the plant. Under conditions of optimal care, the new leaves will develop normally.
