Full description and specifications

Orchid Micropera utriculosa - epiphytic botanical species that stands out for its strange appearance and repeated, abundant flowering. The stem shows an abundance of aerial roots.

Flowering occurs sporadically throughout the year, but mainly in spring and summer. The flowers appear on the opposite side of the leaf, on short stalks - each stalk produces 6-12 flowers.

The present abundance of aerial roots suggests the need for a growing environment with higher humidity (+60%) - in the case of an environment with lower humidity, it can be compensated by spraying. Micropea utriculosa is considered an ideal plant for the terrarium.

Flower size: approx. 1 cm
