Hoya pubicalyx 'Black Dragon' (Hoya pubicorolla ssp. Anthracina)

Hoya pubicalyx 'Black Dragon' (Hoya pubicorolla ssp. Anthracina) - one of the most valued hoya species, due to its spectacular, dark-colored, strongly scented flowers as well as its vigorous growth. It was successively considered a hybrid, a subspecies of H. pubicalyx, and finally was republished under the name Hoya pubicorolla ssp. Anthracina.
Unlike pubicalyx, the leaves are completely green.
It was collected by George Mendoza in the Luzon islands of the Philippines.
