Euphorbia xylophylloides - the succulent plant from the Euphorbiaceae family, native to Madagascar, is popularly known as Milk bush. It has an atypical, uneven growth, and is distinguished by the lack of leaves, having only branches. The body of the plant consists of green, flat stems, like ribbons, which grow both vertically and laterally. These branches usually form a crowned shrub, but sometimes they can evolve into an imposing tree. Thus, under care in indoor conditions, Euphorbia xylophylloides can reach up to 5 meters in height, while in its natural habitat it can rise up to 20 meters. From late spring to early summer, the plant blooms, producing yellow, hairy flowers. It shows some frost resistance and develops quickly. For optimal growth, it needs strong light. It is considered a fast growing plant.
