Dioscorea elephantipes - endemic species from South Africa, which impresses with the special caudex that it forms as the plant develops.
The mature caudex looks like a huge turtle shell, reaching impressive sizes in nature.
Although it is a "slow grower", the plant does not present special claims regarding care.
