Dendrobium anosmum ‘Touch of Class’ is an award-winning clone (JC/AOS) of the Dendrobium anosmum species (Orchidaceae family), native to Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, New Guinea).

Botanical characteristics:

  • Flowers: Approximately 7-10 cm in diameter. White, with fuchsia-pink margins (picotee) and a pink-magenta lip. 8-10 flowers per cane, on leafless stems. Intense lilac / raspberry fragrance. Waxy flowers with a diamond-dust appearance.
  • Growth habit: More compact and shorter than the usual type. Pendulous canes, deciduous in winter. Intermediate-to-warm growth, with a dry rest after the leaves fall.
  • Special features: A highly appreciated clone for its white-fuchsia contrast and fragrance. Blooms in spring on mature, leafless canes.
