Cattleya (Laelia) perrinii is a botanical species found in Brazil, at altitudes of 700 to 900 meters. This medium-sized epiphytic orchid grows mainly in warm conditions. The plant bears a single apical leaf, ligulate, leathery, rounded at the tip. It blooms more frequently from late summer to winter, with 2 to 6 long-lasting flowers, with a spicy floral scent , on a raceme up to 25 cm long, supported by a large compressed sheath.
