Anthurium crystallinum D12

Anthurium crystallinum is an exotic plant native to the jungles of Central and South America. It is known for its large, heart-shaped leaves with a velvety texture and an intense green color. The particularity of this species consists in the appearance of its leaves, which seem to have a layer of crystals, hence the name "crystallinum".

The mature leaves of this plant can reach up to 60 centimeters in length. Its inflorescences are less spectacular than the leaves.

Anthurium crystallinum prefers a humid and warm environment, similar to that of its natural habitat in the tropical forest. As such, this plant grows best in a well-drained soil rich in organic matter, with regular watering, but avoiding water stagnation. It prefers indirect light, because direct sunlight can burn the leaves.
