Full description and specifications

Anthurium Cyrano adapts to almost any environment and produces new flowers throughout the year.
The Arum plant family includes over 1000 species of plants called anthurium.

Care:

  1. Light: I prefer indirect light, bright area. It can also tolerate partial shade, but flowering will be more abundant in adequate light conditions. Avoid direct exposure to the sun, which can burn the leaves.
  2. Soil: I prefer a well-drained soil, rich in organic matter. A mixture of potting soil with perlite and peat is ideal to ensure the necessary drainage.
  3. Watering: Watering must be regular, keeping the soil evenly moist, but not saturated. Allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings to prevent root rot. In winter, reduce watering slightly.
  4. Humidity: Anthurium prefers a high level of humidity. Regular spraying of the leaves or using a humidifier can be beneficial, especially in the winter months.
  5. Temperature: The plant develops best at temperatures between 18-25°C. Avoid exposure to temperatures below 15°C and protect the plant from cold air currents.
  6. Fertilization: Fertilize the plant once a month during the growth period (spring and summer) with a balanced liquid fertilizer for indoor plants. Reduce fertilization during autumn and winter.
  7. Propagation: Anthurium is propagated by dividing the bush or by stem cuttings. The division is best done in the spring.
  8. Common problems: The plant can be affected by pests such as red spiders, aphids and cochineal. Check the plant regularly and treat with appropriate insecticides if necessary. Excessive watering can lead to rotting of the roots and the appearance of mold.
