Rubus fruticosus 'Thornfree' is a thornless blackberry variety, self-fertile, producing very large (around 4g) and elongated, aromatic black fruits starting from mid-July.

A variety awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit.

Rubus fruticosus 'Thornfree' is valued for its very high yields and superior fruit quality. A vigorous variety that requires support (trellises, wire fences, etc.).

Remontant variety - produces fruit from July to September.
For optimal results, it is recommended to place it in a sunny area and water during the warm season. In spring, when the canes exceed 1m, it is recommended to pinch the tip to encourage branching and increase production. At the beginning of winter, old canes can be cut to promote new growth in the next season - fruits on annual growth.

Resistant to temperatures down to -25 °C. Very resistant to diseases and pests.
