Kiwi - Actinidia Arguta 'Issai' is a self-fertile variety, resistant to negative temperatures down to -25 degrees Celsius.
Actinidia arguta 'Issai' is the result of crossing two varieties: Actinidia arguta and Actinidia polygama.

The fruits have a smooth skin, making them directly edible, even with the peel still on. Although small in size, they compensate with abundance - the yield is quite high and the growth is fairly compact for a kiwi. The kiwi can be harvested in September. This variety usually produces its first fruits in the first year after planting.

Cultivation recommendations: Grown on trellises/arches/fences, like a grapevine. We recommend choosing a wind-sheltered area, preferably near a wall/fence with southern exposure. Kiwi Issai appreciates warmth and direct sunlight. The first prunings can be done 2 years after planting, at the end of winter or immediately after harvest.

Does not require special soil (but prefers slightly acidic soil) and is resistant to diseases and pests, being naturally considered "pest free".
Pot diameter: 9 cm
Height including pot: approx. 20-30 cm (varies depending on the season)

In the cold season, the plants are pruned and leafless. Labels and pot shapes may vary depending on the batch and producer.
