The density of the silver splash varies from one vine to another, from discreet speckles to almost complete coverage. The remaining green foliage may develop burgundy tones in bright light. The flowers are small, creamy white, fluffy, and fragrant. Blooming depends on the plant’s maturity and growing conditions. Care is simple, and the plant grows steadily. Its leaves and flowers make it easy to fall in love with.

Foliage and splash. The leaves are small, firm, glossy, and have slightly raised veins. New growth is often heart-shaped; as the plant matures, some leaves become more oval. The silvery effect is splash. The gallery features dense silver coverage on trailing vines, with visible areas of remaining green. The green tissue may darken to burgundy in bright but filtered light.

Flowers and fragrance. The flowers are star-shaped, pubescent, and creamy white, similar in appearance to those of Hoya lacunosa. The fragrance is sweet and may be easier to detect in the evening. The flowers last for several days. Blooming depends on the plant’s maturity and growing conditions.

Identity. Hoya krohniana Kloppenb. & Siar is an accepted species, published in 2009 and native to the Philippines. Before its publication, it circulated as Hoya lacunosa 'Heart Leaf'. Its similarity to Hoya lacunosa remains horticultural; the taxonomy used here treats them as separate. 'Eskimo' is the label for the selection with dense splash.

The decorative pot is not included in the price. Vine length varies from one specimen to another.

Substrate: use an airy, well-draining mix suitable for epiphytic species. We recommend the professional substrate for Hoya and Anthurium - SG Mix.
