Hoya finlaysonii UT073
Hoya finlaysonii – a rare species native to Penang, Malaysia. This plant is highly sought after and valued for its spectacular foliage—large, thick leaves with prominent venation and silver splash markings that impress any collector. The flowers are spectacular, with a cinnamon fragrance and a lifespan of 3–4 days.
Hoya finlaysonii is considered easy to grow when provided with adequate warmth and humidity. It may bloom several times throughout the year, but the plant tends to drop its buds when the microclimate is unstable—due to temperature fluctuations, drafts, or excessively dry air. In most cases, after an unsuccessful bloom, old peduncles produce new buds.
