Ficus carica 'Panache' - a variety of fig tree cultivated since ancient times, with variegated fruits that create a sensation in any garden.

This cultivar originates from ancient France (first mentioned in texts from 1668) and is renowned for its cold resistance and consistent fruiting.

The fruits have green skin with yellow-cream stripes. The pulp is red, sweet, and aromatic. Variety with two fruiting periods per year.

Fruit weight: approx. 60-90 grams

Garden hardiness. It withstands temperatures down to -20°C without significant damage. Resistance increases as the plant matures, the root system develops, and the branches thicken. It is recommended to protect the plants in the first years by wrapping them with microporous film (anti-freeze film, Agril-type film, etc.). Freezing cases in fig trees cause damage to the aerial parts – however, the root remains alive, and the plant regrows in spring.

Disease and pest resistance. Fig trees are considered ‘pest free’.

Parthenocarpic variety – it is self-fertile and does not require a pollinator.
