Anthurium crystallinum
Anthurium crystallinum is an exotic plant native to the jungles of Central and South America. It is known for its large, heart-shaped leaves with a velvety texture and intense green color. This species is distinguished by the appearance of its leaves, which seem to have a layer of crystals, hence the name "crystallinum".
The mature leaves of this plant can reach up to 60 centimeters in length. Its inflorescences are less spectacular than its leaves.
Anthurium crystallinum prefers a warm, humid environment similar to that of its natural tropical rainforest habitat. As such, this plant thrives best in well-drained soil rich in organic matter, with regular watering while avoiding waterlogging. It prefers indirect light, as direct sunlight can burn the leaves.
Note: in-stock specimens may also have leaves with defects.
